From story to classroom: a new science storytelling project with Infineon, European Schoolnet and Scientix
Our next science storytelling project brings together Infineon, European Schoolnet and Scientix to create something new for classrooms across Europe.

We’re excited to share our next science storytelling project for primary school children, with a new illustrated book at its heart. It is developed by The Curious Crew together with Infineon, European Schoolnet and Scientix.
Just like in Battery Town, Sofia, Viktor and Mr. Tie will travel inside a technology and discover, question by question, how it really works. This time, the journey leads into a different technology, one at the heart of Infineon’s work. Which one? We’ll reveal it soon.
What makes this project unique is the partnership behind it. Infineon, European Schoolnet (the network of 34 European Ministries of Education) and Scientix (the community for science education in Europe) each bring their own strengths, and together with our science storytelling, we create something completely new on the educational market: a science story, with a children’s book at its heart, that takes real-world technology straight into the classroom.
What it means for children and teachers
- Real technology, real experts. Infineon will contribute its technical knowledge to make sure the content is technically accurate and up to date. That knowledge comes from the people who work with this technology every day.
- Shaped with teachers. The book will be piloted with teachers and mapped to school curricula, so it fits real classroom needs.
- A teacher’s pack. Supporting materials will help teachers bring the story into their lessons. The pack will be openly licensed under Creative Commons.
- Free on Scientix. A dedicated educational edition of the book will be free for schools on the Scientix portal.
- Shared across Europe. The book will be shared with the Ministries of Education in the European Schoolnet network.
For us, this is what science storytelling is all about: making complex technology simple and engaging, and giving teachers the tools to turn children’s curiosity into real understanding. The project kicks off this autumn, and the launch is planned for 2027. Stay tuned!
