Introducing our Curious Crew two main real life characters: Sofia and Mr. Tie

Sofia and Mr. Tie are both based on real life characters!
From physical appearance to character-traits we have used real-life Sofia and Mr. Tie as the biggest inspiration behind The Curious Crew. Scroll down to learn more about real-life Sofia and Mr. Tie!
Sofia
Sofia is a 5-year-old girl, who, just like any other kid loves to play and asks a billion questions per day. She does not take no for an answer and has a surreal amount of energy in trying to get things to go her way. She is strong, determined, empowered but above all CURIOUS.
She is curious why she must drink her freshly squeezed juice in the morning, why she needs to go to bed at a specific time, why her pizza gets cold, but her ice cream gets melty and why grown-ups say “in a minute” but it takes forever. Her brain could keep asking questions until the moon turns purple and she is always ready for new adventures and exploration.
And she is my daughter.
My firstborn and the girl that changed my life by bringing curiosity back. By asking me those billion questions and reminding me to ask questions myself.
Mr. Tie
Mr. Tie’s (real name: Tai) was the dog of Sofia’s godmother who lived with us when Sofia was born in 2020. He greeted her home when she came back from the hospital, took care of her while she slept in her crib and was always ready for an adventure (minus certain days when Sofia became a toddler and gentleness was not in her vocabulary).
Tai has been with us ever since we were in elementary school; lived through our puberty, moved to different countries and patiently watched us grow up all while growing old himself. As of September 2023, he is no longer with us but will continue living in our hearth and through the curious crew.
His main mission continues to be to be take care of kids and help them solve life’s mysteries!
